Del Carroll

Del Carroll is a second generation racehorse trainer. His first win was recorded at Hialeah Race Track in Florida in 1974 and first stake victory at Bowie Race Track in Maryland in 1975. The last 30 years of his training career were based at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The stable garnered hundreds of wins and over $18 million of earnings.


Reagan Equine was fortunate enough to meet Del and his wife, Robin, when they relocated to Wilmington, NC to be near their family. Del’s horse experience has been a great asset to us and we are glad to have him as a member of our team.



Madison Davis

Madison Davis, was born and raised in Mooresville, North Carolina and has recently made the move to the Wilmington Area. Previously employed by an Equine Veterinarian in her hometown, Madison’s passion for horses has grown tremendously.

What began as a weekly lesson as a child, turned into a lifelong passion. For eight years she has concentrated on reining and pleasure riding. After completing an associates degree in business administration, Madison plans to continue her education at Cape Fear Community College.

Sarah Jackson

Sarah Jackson is originally from Wilmington, NC and has been involved with horses for many years. She started locally in Saddlebreds as a groom and then moved into the Arabian world. Sarah has been a small animal vet assistant  and a equine vet assistant but for the last 13 years has been the breeding and farm manager at a large horse farm in southeastern NC. No longer riding or showing, she is happiest taking care of all animals but particularly equines.

Kyle Scott

Originally from Brunswick County NC, Kyle grew up on the family farm where his mother was raised. He is a graduate of Cape Fear Community College with a 2 year Associate of Arts, college transfer degree. Growing up, Kyle always had an interest in horses and enjoyed riding occasionally with friends and neighbors who owned horses. In high school, he began attending hunter and western pleasure shows with a friend and soon purchased a horse of his own for pleasure riding.


While at Cape Fear, he began working at a saddlebred barn where he assisted the trainer and traveled with the barn to shows. Kyle joined the Reagan Equine team in September 2014 and has been attending horse shows with the team since then. In his spare time, he enjoys going on weekend rides.
