Veterinary assistant
Originally from Clearwater, Kansas. Joined the Navy out of high school and has always loved horses, riding whenever she could. After service, followed her husband to North Carolina on military orders and is continuing her bachelor’s degree online. Hopes to pursue veterinary education at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine.
Equine science
Grew up riding and showing hunter/jumpers. Bachelor’s in Equine Science from Morrisville State College. A-Circuit internship with a Grand Prix rider; experience at a Standardbred breeding farm. Joined as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Gilmette in 2022. Enjoys her three dogs and riding horses.
8 yrs experience
Eight years of experience as a veterinary assistant in small-animal and large-animal practice. Brings a strong clinical background and a lifelong passion for horses. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her two kids, trail riding, and the beach.
