Kim Powell
Barn assistant
From the California Bay Area, where she retrained OTTBs for eventing and competed at top venues including Rolex and Fair Hill. Animal Science at UC Davis; eight years in Kentucky as a rider, instructor, and farm manager, then South Florida with a Hall of Fame hunter trainer. Now breeds Warmbloods and develops her Hanoverian, Weenie, in North Carolina.

Barn assistant
Joined the barn team after several years in human medicine; spent the past year building equine care experience. Her emergency and clinical background supports strong patient care as she works toward becoming a veterinarian. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, sewing, scuba diving, the beach, and time with her cats, Beans and Gravel.
Anne Waltz
Barn assistant
More than 20 years with horses; trains in eventing and is rehabilitating an OTTB. Joined Reagan Equine in October 2025. Away from the barn, she enjoys long walks with her dog to the sound and beach, Pilates, and time with family and friends.

From Long Island, New York. Biology pre-vet major at UNCW. Enjoys traveling, reading and writing, and time with his two German Shepherds.
